We offer Motorcycle Adventure Tours and Expeditions to
China. Our Motorcycle Tours allow the rider access to the peoples,
culture and magical landscapes encountered on the journey, in a way
which would not otherwise be possible.
Why Motorcycles?
NOTHING rivals travel by motorcycle. Rather than sitting
in a large metal can watching the world pass by almost as if it were
on a television screen, travel by motorcycle puts you right out into
the environment.
You are no longer a passenger. You become a participant.
Dark clouds on the horizon may mean it’s time to
make a short stop to put on a rain suit, or stop at a small village
and do some window shopping while the rain blows by.
When the roads and tracks get bumpy, a trail bike takes it all in its stride.
These are all good reasons to travel by motorcycle.
But in China, perhaps the best reason is that it puts
you in much more direct touch with the people. Stop for a while in
an isolated spot by a river and after a while a few curious locals
may find you, grinning a friendly ‘hullo’. On the grasslands,
you will encounter motorcycle-riding herdsmen who will take as keen
an interest in you as your motorcycle.
In our experience, there is no better way for people
to gain a better understanding of a foreign culture than to travel
inside that foreign country with the handlebars of a motorcycle in
your hands and be able to interact with its peoples.
